"BRACASPORT" Paddles
|
|
"BRÁCSA" paddles have been designed by using the
latest technology available, together with the invaluable
com- ments and collaboration from some of the world`s leading coaches and paddlers. We were the first manufacturer to introduce the now highly successful "tear drop" blade. At that time, this design had huge advantages over the traditional paralleledged blade. "BRÁCSA" blades are made from a unique combination of high modulus carbon, kevlar and hollow glass fibres. Carbon fibre produces the extreme lightness and "stiffness" required, whilst kevlar and glass add great impact resistance and strength. These materials are combined with a toughened epoxy resin, they are then polymerised at 80 °C under pressure and produce the world acclaimed "BRÁCSA" blade. |

International top class competition demands superbly light shafts with exceptional
stiffness. To meet this requirement, the 100% "BRÁCSA" carbon
shafts are polymerised at an increased 160° Full carbon shafts may be too light and rigid for young children and inexperienced paddlers, the tention and jarring may cause injury to joints. To avoid this, a combination carbon-glass shaft is available, it is slightly heavier but significantly reduces the possibility of injuries and strains. |
